Introduction
I’ve been coaching newbies and offline companies for over three years. Initially, I started out on the Internet purely to guide my daughter. I really did not have any intentions of turning it into a business.
I had been homeschooling my two children for seven years. My eldest found school a struggle, but one day discovered that she could design with HTML.
When I saw that she could teach herself HTML, yet was having difficulty with other subjects, I decided that I could not pass up an opportunity to let her excel. This motivated me to understand what the options were and how I could encourage and guide her.
I started teaching HTML to a local homeschool co-op class and then I expanded it to Web design and more. Then at homeschool conferences, other moms began asking, “Can you teach my child?” So, I started doing Webinar classes for website design, ebay, blogging, traffic generation, social media and video.
Helping others is my passion and passing on this knowledge and experience is extremely rewarding. I’ve loved watching some of my students go on and earn money; not just adults, but teens, too, like my daughter, who has her own Web design and graphics company.
In this economy, there is a growing group of people who need to earn money. While they are looking at ways to earn money, they’re of course, looking at the Internet.
If you are a local business, then my training applies to your business as well. You either need your own web site hosting or use a reputable provider.
