Get Domain Name…
The Address of Your Destination!
After finding the right niches, completing the keyword research, the next step is finding the right domain. You want your domain to contain at least one keyword. It should also be short and indicate the type of content on the site.
First go to Go Daddy or 1and1 to start your search. Type in your desired domain. If it is available, congratulations! Most likely the domain you type in will not be available.
At GoDaddy you can do an 'Advanced Search' . Type in your phrase and see what alternatives it provides. You check the ones you are interested in and click 'Check Availability.' The search engine will tell you which domains are available. You can then proceed to register your domain.
NOTE: For a business site, I would highly recommend staying with a dot com domain name. I have started using 1and1 more for my domains since they1 offer free private registration.
